District Five would like to honor a special member of Detroit s finest Jayvon Felton. Nine year old Jayvon served the citizens of Detroit and District 5 as Police Chief January 31, 2014. Jayvon lost his valiant battle with Lukemia. but won the hearts of every true Detroiter. District Five offers sincere condolence to the Felton family and thank you for sharing your son’s enthusiasm with the Detroit Police Department and the City of Detroit.
