Democrats nominated former Detroit police commission member Willie Burton. Republicans are standing Michele Lundgren, who was one of 15 “fake electors” charged with trying to direct Michigan’s electoral votes in the 2020 election to President Donald Trump, who lost the race. Willie Burton gets our endorsement. Jahdante Smith of the Green Party and Logan Ausherman of the Working Class Party are also on the ballot.
